Russian-Ukrainian War Week 115 - Statistics and Data

The Russian war in Ukraine enters its 115th week, we track where the fighting is

happening and provide you with all latest available data and statistics.


After more then 2 years Russian and Ukrainian troops are still fighting in the

Donbass Region, Kharkov Region and in the south of Ukraine.

After a successful offensive in Kharkov and Kherson, Ukrainian troops were able

to push Russian troops out of large parts occupied in Russia's initial push

beginning in February 2022.

In the following year, 2023, Russian troops, primarily from the Mercenary Group

Wagner managed to capture the important towns of Soledar and Bakhmut after

month long battles. A few weeks later, Ukraine started it's second offensive,

boosted by weapon deliveries from the West. The offensive focused on regaining

the southern cities of Melitopol, Tokmak and to reach Crimea. After heavy losses

the offensive stalled and had to be called failed.

Russian troops then began to advance on the important stronghold of Avdiivka.

In February 2024 Russian troops gained control of the city and since then been

on a ongoing offensive in the Donbass.

Since beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war 10.800 civilians have died and

20.556 civilians got injured. This data is provided by the United Nations, who has

counted losses till March 2023.



























From the beginning of the invasion on, Western nation have supported Ukraine

with financial and military support. The United States of America have donated

the most aid to Ukraine, supporting the country in it's on going struggle.

In recent years NATO has further expanded to the east, much on the anger

of Russia. Moscow claims it's being threatened by NATO expansion.

Ukraine joining the military alliance is unacceptable for Russia, and one of

the main reasons for Russian intervention, according to the Kremlin.
